Best Part of the Party! 

We first saw the Lucky Devils preform at a showcase. I will admit I wasn't totally convinced as the performance was meant to show their range but instead felt disconnected. We decided to book anyway, knowing that a live band would be more fun than a DJ.

When it came to the day of our actual wedding we were BLOWN AWAY. Jefferson did a phenomenal job putting together a band that perfectly fit our vision for the evening. The dance floor was full up until the very last song.

The Lucky Devils Band did an incredible job making sure everyone at our wedding (ages 2 to 98) stayed on their feet. We received so many compliments about the band and we are so happy we chose them to perform for our big day!

We were anxious about booking Lucky Devils for our big day as we knew it wasn’t possible to see our exact musicians perform before the day. But we took the leap of faith based on their reviews and we are so happy that we did! 

The band was absolutely fantastic. They had the perfect repertoire for us and got the whole room up and dancing. Jefferson also made the planning process so easy. We had full confidence that he knew our needs inside out and that absolutely shone through on the day.

Best Band Ever! 

Jefferson and his team were nothing short of perfect. During pre-wedding planning Jefferson was transparent and very accommodating. He made the experience super enjoyable. The band was awesome! From the first song, Shut up and Dance to the last song, Don't stop Believing, the dance floor was packed. They were never intrusive, always appropriate. My family will never forget their performance. We highly recommend them and will use them again!

Couldn’t have been happier! 

I got married in October in SONOMA, CA and planned my wedding from afar— our in Chicago IL. Jefferson and crew at Lucky Devils Band are truly pros and made the process as stress free as possible. And don’t even get me started on the wedding day— our band was  the talk of the entire wedding! We had a little over 100 people at our wedding and used LDB’s 7 piece band option, and it was perfect. They have such a big band feel and know how to keep the party on the dance floor. Can’t say enough about the planning process with Jefferson either. Over the course of the year leading up to the wedding, Jefferson made himself available whenever we felt we needed to chat or ask questions. These guys know what they are doing. I had high expectations and they surpassed them all, made our entire day perfect.

The Lucky Devils were absolutely fantastic and I would recommend them without hesitation - they really pulled the whole wedding together and made dancing into the night with our friends and family such an event! We've had many compliments about their energy, the quality of their playing, and the life they brought to the evening from our guests both on the night and since. We booked them as an 8-piece and I can definitely say that it was worth going for two singers - one male, one female. The two of them had enormous range and wonderful chemistry which very much resonated with the crowd.

The preliminary process was also very easy, particularly facilitated by Jefferson and the band's professionalism. We filled out their website with details as we got further along in the planning with a long list of the sort of songs we would like to hear, but asked the band to use their judgment. They did an excellent job and really kept the flow of the evening well. They also played beautiful renditions of the songs we selected for first dance and father/daughter dance. Jefferson was a  consummate professional as the MC, keeping things flowing well between speeches while allowing space for the other speakers to shine, including some private reassuring words that were very much appreciated!

The Lucky Devils Band was absolutely AMAZING!! Everyone at our wedding said how much they loved them, and our dance floor was PACKED for every single song. It was not empty for a single minute of the night - even during band breaks when a Spotify playlist was used. They really made sure that the entire time was covered with good music, and even made adjustments for when our schedule was delayed for unforeseen circumstances. The played so wonderfully the entire night, with MC announcements, ceremony music, and special dances flowing so smoothly. I worked a lot with Jefferson to manage all things for the band, and even though we had some hiccups along the way, he was great in ironing out every detail and making sure that the plan was as best laid out as possible. We had a slight bump in the road with accommodations for the band, since our venue was Union Hill Inn in Sonora, CA, which is over 2 hours away from their hub of San Francisco, thus requiring a night's stay for band members. However, Jefferson and I worked together to fix this and everything ended up working out great! Pouring over the fine details ended up being so incredibly helpful because the entire night went off without a hitch. We even had to make some last minute changes and additions, and the band was SO great in adding everything in. Flawless!! Overall, INCREDIBLE band, one of the best I've ever experienced.

Book Them.........NOW! Planning your wedding is stressful. Great music from an exceptionally talented band shouldn’t be. Your guests will remember the food and the music. Don’t waste another second agonizing who you’re going to hire to play at your reception. The communication, the detail, the pricing and the performance were all on point. Jefferson was on it from the minute we contacted him. His suggestions and experience were very helpful. He always responded quickly and patiently answered all of our questions. He pieces the right musicians to your event and their set lists are very fluid based on how full your dance floor is. Reading a crowd is what they do. Much like any bride and groom, we were sad that the evening had to end. My apologies to all of the talented DJ’s out there but nothing says wedding reception like a band with tremendous range. Hire the Lucky Devils Band. It will end up being the best decision you’ll make about your wedding day.

Jefferson and the Lucky Devils Band were sensational! From the months prior to our daughter's wedding to the wedding day itself - all was 100% great. They brought their A-game - guests commented on the great sound, great play list, and everyone was up and dancing. Jefferson got the crowd on their feet! He's a gem: personable, professional, talented and brought a fantastic 10-piece band with him. I'd recommend them highly!

We booked the Lucky Devils Band for our wedding reception and they were absolutely amazing. Jefferson, the band's coordinator, was completely on top of every planning detail leading up to the event, and helped us fine tune the makeup of the band to suit our musical tastes. The band itself was nothing but amazing. They were all top notch musicians, and incredibly polite, accommodating, and professional. The band's guitarist was also our ceremony musician musician, and he went out of his way to learn and arrange a version of the song we wanted to walk down the isle to. The entire band also learned and performed two original instrumental songs written by our uncle, and he was raving the entire night about how good of a job they did. The band was very reasonably priced, especially considering how detailed, thorough, and talented they were. Highly recommended. 💯💯💯

Excellent service. The preparation/communication line leading up to the big day is great. This is facilitated by an online account where you will list your desired playlist, payment information, schedule of events etc. Everything LD’s can’t perform from the playlist you submit will be pre-recorded on an MP3 player and played during the breaks - SUPER GOOD SERVICE. The flexibility the LD’s provide on their performance schedule is also a big plus. Jefferson is great to deal with. He is professional, caring, patient, explains well and responds to phone and email messages within a reasonable amount of time

BOOK. THIS. BAND. I cannot recommend them highly enough! I myself almost couldn't believe the incredible reviews they have, but right from the start I knew they were the real deal. From the first email to the last dance, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Jefferson. He made the entire booking and planning process a breeze with his responsiveness and attention to detail. The music was one of the most important aspects of our big day, and we knew we were in good hands the moment we spoke with Jefferson. The band managed the music throughout the entire event, and we couldn't have been happier with everything. From pre-ceremony acoustic guitar, to relaxed cocktail music, to a customized playlist during dinner and lastly the full band sets, it was absolutely PERFECT. I'm not lying when I say this is the best wedding band I've ever seen, and I heard the same thing from our guests all night long! Almost a month later, and our guests are STILL raving about the band. I've had multiple people reach out to me asking how to book them. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. If you are reading this review, you have found the best wedding band out there!! Our sincerest gratitude goes out to Jefferson and the Lucky Devils for making our wedding night so magical.

Wow. Just wow. Lucky Devils Band couldn't have been a better pick for a wedding band. They are an incredibly talented band who has amazing depth in their musical repertoire. If you're looking for sweet acustic music for the ceremony, jazz trio for the cocktail hour, or a band to make everyone, including grandma, jump out of their seats and cut a rug contact them STAT! Communication was easy, thorough, seamless and pleasant. Their energy, talent and professionalism is top notch. Don't let the classic attire fool you, Lucky Devils can play the best of the Rat Pack, get funky with Prince, fist pump with top 40 or dust off their boots with some country. My guests were so impressed, I am still getting compliments and rave reviews about them. If you are in need for an MC - Jefferson rocks that role. He is charming, funny and keeps the programming on track. I highly recommend them for any occasion that needs live music.

Omg. Omg. Omg. Months later (sorry for the late review, guys) and we STILL have people telling us how much fun the band was at our wedding. Jefferson was our emcee and he did a fantastic job building the energy and keeping people engaged. We did the 7 piece band and they absolutely nailed it. I gave them a list of songs we would like and it felt like they did every song on the list (even though they only realistically had time for a quarter of it). Because we were running late, they didn’t even take as many breaks as they were supposed to. They gave us so much playing time. And their energy was on fire! There was never a moment when the dance floor was dead. NEVER.I pretty much was on the dance floor the entire night and did not mingle with my guests after I started dancing. Unless they were dancing with me. You will not regret working with the Lucky Devils. If you are fortunate enough to work with Jefferson, he was an absolute dream to work with. Weeks before the wedding he would call me, ask me how planning was going, and listen to me vent about all the things that were stressing me out. He asked me how he could help and what he could do and ensured me it was going to be an amazing day. I am so grateful for Jefferson and the Lucky Devil. They were worth ever. Single. Penny. They made our wedding the success that it was. THANK YOU, LUCKY DEVILS!!!!

If I could give 10/5 I would. I learned about The Lucky Devils at my cousins wedding and I knew I had to have them at mine... 2 years later. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience from start to finish. Jefferson was always responsive and more than accommodating when a wrench was thrown into the plan. In the future if I ever plan a fancy event I will call The Lucky Devils again. NO DOUBT!

Fabulous musicians, excellent value! They injected energy and happiness into our wedding. People danced 'til the very end. Their song choices were in line with our stated likes and dislikes. Plus, they helped us w/ mics for the ceremony, music for cocktail hour, and music for dancing. Jefferson, the band manager, was full of energy and pep, too.

Lucky Devils Band played our wedding on July 1st and we couldn't have been happier! During the booking/planning stages, we worked with Jefferson (he's the BEST!) and he helped us put together the band of our dreams. Lucky Devils provided us with a sound engineer for the ceremony, string quartet for cocktail hour, MC, and a 10 piece band for our party. Everyone at the wedding said that the band was incredible and they kept everyone on the dance floor all night! Thank you for being a part of our special day!

This band was incredible! I had at least 15 people tell me The Lucky Devils were the best wedding band they've every seen. Jefferson was so helpful throughout the whole process in setting up the event. Not only was the music amazing, but the band was super gracious and flexible. Hire these guys! You won't be disappointed

We recently had Lucky Devils play at our Wedding and we can’t begin to recommend them enough. Our guests are still raving about the music! We did not want ‘the same old wedding band’ and Lucky Devils delivered. We had a six piece band including two singers, drums, guitar, keyboard, and saxophone. They played three hour-long sets. They started with music that was geared more towards our parents’ generation but played music that got everyone on the dance floor right away. Over the course of the night, the music transitioned into more contemporary songs. They were able to play a great range of music from Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder to Justin Timberlake, Prince and Pitbull. Everything they played sounded amazing. They did a great job reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged with the music. We first went to listen to Lucky Devils play a showcase in San Francisco and took note of our favorite band members. They made it very easy to work with them by providing an online form that allowed us to enter our favorite and least favorite songs and all event logistics. A couple weeks before the event we had a phone call with Jefferson. He was very easy to work with and understood our goals. Jefferson provided the MC service and did an amazing job. He did not try to be the center of the event but he did a great job making introductions, including pronouncing some difficult names correctly! A couple of months before the wedding, we provided the band with a unique Beatles cover song for our first dance and they were able to learn it and did a great job with it. Our wedding was in an unconventional warehouse-type space, which presented some technical challenges. The band was able to address some technical difficulties cause by our venue without any of our guests noticing. The Lucky Devils are as professional as they are extremely fun!! A few weeks after our wedding, my mom is hoping to find a Lucky Devils show she can attend because she loved the music so much, and our friends all want to hire them for their weddings. If you want a professional, energetic, and great sounding band that will keep your guests dancing through the night, The Lucky Devils is the band for you.

I can't even remember how I happened upon the Lucky Devils Band, but as I sit here writing this about a month after our NYE wedding, I can't imagine having had anyone BUT them play the day. Honestly, this band is not just musically worth every penny, but one of the best and most professional vendors we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process. I'd gone to see them at a showcase in San Francisco, which I highly recommend doing if you're on the fence or even "band shopping." It's a great way to test the product and in the case of the Lucky Devils, their showcase was like a concert -- and in my case, it completely cemented that this was one of the best event bands I'd ever seen. I literally hired them that evening. It was one of the earliest decisions I made in the planning process (right after venue selection), and it was easily one of the best. I'd already been interacting over email with their manager, Jefferson, so I also knew that they were very professionally run, which also meant a lot to me. They'd also sent over a terrific demo CD (for free), which also had a very pro look and feel -- again, these things matter when you're talking about forking over several thousand dollars in a deposit to someone you may or may not ever meet in person. Anyway, all of this is to say that Jefferson/the band's responsiveness, handle on pre-wedding day logistics, and professionalism was a huge bonus to what I knew would be true: the day-of music kicked ASS. I actually hired the Devils to provide the music at all three "junctures" of the wedding: the ceremony, where I had a keyboard and violinist; the cocktail hour, where I had a jazz trio; and the wedding reception itself, where I had an eight-piece band. The musicians for each component of the wedding were absolutely top-notch. Finally, I'd be remiss not to note how accommodating the band was in incorporating live versions of songs that meant a lot to us as a couple. I had specific ceremony music requests, which were beautifully rendered, and we had the band play our first dance song (which they learned, and executed to perfection). The band went above and beyond to make our day as incredible as it was, and anyone who can should hire them. They're the best!

We cannot stress enough how amazing the Lucky Devils Band was at our Wedding October 30th. Jefferson, singer and manager was an absolute dream to work with. He just got it. And he was an excellent MC for the event. He made setting up what we needed easy and was a pleasure. The band has many members so the mood and feeling of what you want is curated to you particularly. My husband and I were lucky enough to go to a wedding 3 weeks before ours that also had the Lucky Devils playing and they were awesome! When they played at our wedding, they were just as awesome and perfect for the feeling and energy of the venue. I kept saying "Why wouldn't everyone hire them!" I found them after working my way through many bands and went with my gut. We spoke to Jefferson and his energy and focus made us know this was the band for us. We also heard them at a local venue and they were so versatile and powerful. Loved! Thank you to Jefferson and the Lucky Devils for being such a huge part of our beautiful wedding day.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, all we knew we wanted was a live band. We had coworkers who stated that a DJ would be just as great, in which we responded with some scoffing. A live band is COMPLETELY different than a DJ - the live music, the beautiful sounds of the instruments, the vocals...oh gosh, we can drone on. Needless to say, with this high up on our list of wants, searching for the right band was the first thing we actually did after we got engaged. Who cared about the venue if we couldn't get our band?! We looked online and talked to a few potentials until we stumbled on the Lucky Devils. We decided to take a trip home to see them play live, and the minute we heard the first song, I had chills down my arms and my husband turned to me, smiled, and said, "Yup. This is it!" Looking for our band proved to be the easiest of all tasks and Jefferson only made it easier! We had our wedding in an outdoor venue and the naive techie that I am, I just let Jefferson take the reigns of what was needed to run the show for the day. We had a few chit chats about the structure of our wedding day, but we pretty much gave him all of our trust, and man did he come through! We cannot rave enough about Jefferson and his bandmates! One of our wedding guests who has a band of his own was still talking about the Lucky Devils when we saw him a month after our wedding! Our guests, photographer, videographer, and catering all loved the event but without the Lucky Devils, it would not have been as highlighted as it was. My husband and I are trying to see what other family events we can throw in the next years to come so we can hire them again. LOL - but seriously, we won't be looking for a band again. The Lucky Devils will always be our go-to and referral from now on! :)

The Lucky Devils band are one in a million. From the word "go", my interactions and communications with the band (via band leader Jefferson) were exceptional--and far beyond what I received from other bands I contacted in researching for our wedding. He was responsive, thorough, friendly, and genuinely excited to help us find the best match for our event. The informational/sample music packet they sent was amazing and really showcased the level of variety you can expect from The Lucky Devils. Everything from pop dance hits, to cultural specifics (think Hava Nagila), to crooner classics, to soul/R&B and classic rock: The Lucky Devils truly do it all! Jefferson will also work with you to learn your tastes and preferences in order to develop a playlist and style that best suits your event. Perhaps best of all (aside from the incredible value you receive for the price) is the customizable format of the band. Want a casual jazz trio? Done. Full 10-piece band with horns. No problem! Night-of was no different. The band arrived, checked in with us and started setting up with excellent communication throughout the evening regarding set times, announcements, music choices, etc. The party was an absolute blast thanks to the incredible musicians on stage, and we left our wedding with The Lucky Devils surpassing any and all expectations. All of our guests, from Grandma to Groomsmen, LOVED the band, and even the catering staff and venue coordinator all commented on how it was one of, if not THE, best wedding band they had seen--and they see a lot! As someone who works with touring bands in a venue setting professionally, I can say with full confidence that Jefferson and The Lucky Devils are one of the best, most affordable, most communicative, most flexible, and down-to-earth, and downright FUN bands out there. Look no further: you've found your wedding band!

Lucky Devils Band are hands down the only band I would ever consider recommending. From their organization, preparation and planning (Jefferson), to their performance at our reception (Geechi, you were amazing! The whole band was phenomenal!), Lucky Devils was a class act and brilliant performers, with the best professionalism and follow-through. I wanted a great singer/vocalist, with the range to sing jazzy Sinatra and then flip to upbeat John Legend, but could also hit Ray LaMontagne, too. Do you know what I mean? I wanted a real cool cat. And Geechi was the man. He delivered a home run! And what WOULD and COULD have been terrible, was if they were a great sounding band, but couldn't deal with the technical stuff of working with the venue restrictions, etc. But INSTEAD, they have a true gentlemen and professional organizing everything behind the scenes! Jefferson worked with my music taste and demands wonderfully, integrated with our planner and our venue coordinator, and made sure his team on the ground nailed the delivery. And that's exactly what happened with Geechi. Just perfectly delivered...Everyone kept saying how awesome they were and that "this is the funnest wedding" they'd ever attending. How cool is that?! Perfect compliment for our selection of Lucky Devils, in my opinion. There's really not more I can say. There is likely not a better, more professional and amazing sounding live band. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about them...So, if you THINK they could be a good fit, let me finalize your selection process...give them a shot. They will not disappoint

Wow, words cannot describe how amazing this live band was at our reception! They highlighted my bridal experience by a clutch performance of the f.r.i.e.n.d.s. theme song mid-reception which absolutely made the experience perfection! We spent the extra amount for the MC and it was totally worth it, the whole team was fantastic. I want to have more events now just to be able to use this spectacular group! I'm beyond impressed with this band!

Very organized, and very easy to work with. One of my favorite vendors that I worked with through the whole process. Jefferson was my point of contact and he was fantastic. Extremely professional, easy to get a hold of. Very fast response time. He was a great MC and I had full trust in him and the band going into my big day. Friends from my wedding have asked for their contact information for future gigs! Hire them!!!
